J&S Tool, Inc. has the capability to recondition, modify and manufacture all types of cutting tools including special tool designs. From small lot quantities, to high production volume, tools can be reground to tight tolerances with consistent accuracy.
 Our staff at J&S Tool, have served multiple industries developing experimental components in addition to long range production of parts. This function has helped J&S Tool develop & maximize the grinding process for our customers by experimenting with tooling designs & wheel grades dependant to part geometric and material specifications. We maintain an extensive inventory of grinding wheels to develop cost effective processes of production for our customers.
Aided by our CNC technology, J&S Tool’s experienced tooling professionals can repair, regrind, re-tip, sharpen, modify or manufacture virtually any industrial cutting tool. We are equipped with the latest-generation ANCA 3-dimensional production software, plus 7 axis tool and cutter grinders for advanced finishing. Along with our CNC’s, we offer a full range of support equipment.
In most cases our tools are ground to tolerances much closer than specified and when needed, we can guarantee down to +/-0.0001”.
We can advise you and help you select the right tool for your application. If it’s a tool that doesn’t exist, we can analyze your application and – using our advanced technology equipment – fabricate the precise cutting tool you need for the job, or modify your existing off-the-shelf tooling. In analyzing your tooling needs, we can possibly eliminate multiple setups with your machine operations and manufacture a specific tool to handle those setups.
 Special jobs require precision cutting tools; and J&S Tool, Inc. can provide the precise cutting-tool grinding our machine-tool customers require for new and complex applications. We have the capability and expertise to reverse-engineer your’ tooling needs. Prototype work is a field that we specialize and excel in.
Drawings and designs that are submitted to J&S Tool, Inc. will be kept in the strictest confidence. Under no circumstances will your design materials or tools be reproduced, copied or displayed, whole or in part.
